French bank wins best e-FX platform for corporates award
BNP Paribas' push into foreign exchange has been paying dividends. Over the past 12 months the bank's corporate FX platform, Centric, has seen a 300% increase in global usage, with particular growth in Europe and Asia-Pacific.
Thomas Soede, global co-head of e-markets and fixed income, says the secret to the platform's success lies in the fact that BNP Paribas came to the e-FX game late, making it very agile in terms of development and its highly customisable nature.
