Poland Launches Free Floating Zloty, Start Of New FX Markets Business

WARSAW--Poland last week allowed the zloty to float in a move market commentators suggest will be the next major trend in direction for the foreign exchange business.

"Initially currency flows in the zloty will be slight," says one analyst. "But it's the start of things to come. The zloty is more a symbol of the way that central and eastern Europe is opening itself up to the foreign exchange markets.
