EBS Combats Complaints Over Sterling Liquidity But Satisfaction Levels High


LONDON--Liquidity is the key to success for customers of electronic brokerage EBS--but the lack of sterling liquidity on the system has been letting them down.

That’s the clear message from the results of the 1999 EBS customer survey released in April. Overall satisfaction among EBS users is high, but sterling traders have been ‘very frank’ about their concerns.

"Their liquidity in sterling was non-existent--it was one of those currencies that Reuters had a stranglehold over," says Dave White
