Two-Year Anniversary Shows EBS Ahead In Market Share

The Electronic Broking Service (EBS) has apparently surpassed its chief rival, Reuters Dealing 2000-2 in market share, two years after its launch on September 15, 1993, and becomes one of the top five brokers in many of the world's biggest FX markets, figures show.

But a study conducted by a prominent FX market consultant shows that EBS and 2000-2 may be doing as much, or more, damage to the business of major banks as they are to human voice-broking companies.
