Bank Of Montreal Moves Forward With FX Options Growth And Overnight Desk

Bank of Montreal (BMo) has centralised its global forex options pricing and book management business in a three-shift, 24-hour-a-day forex options desk in Chicago as part of its overall push in options, which has included several additions to its options trading team, say officials. BMo is focusing its efforts in a couple of niches, including U.S./Canadian dollar options market-making, they say.

According to Dave Faller, head of FX options sales and trading at BMo, the options business is
