Norddeutsche Opens Branch In Far East To Service Complete Global Coverage

Germany's Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale (Nord/LB) has closed a gap in its 24-hour coverage of the foreign exchange market by opening a new branch in Singapore on November 1, officials say.

Bernd Hartwig was transferred from the head office in Hannover as the new treasury manager in charge of building the operation, which could double in size from its initial 25 staff over the next couple of years, he says.
