Hypo-Bank Bolsters New York Team, While Considering Global Strategy

Bayerische Hypotheken- und Wechsel-Bank (Hypo-Bank) has been bolstering its New York FX trading operation since hiring Deutsche Bank's former treasurer, Gerhardt Stejskal, in June, as its senior vice president and treasurer. Separately, the bank's London operation is also planning an expansion, although the bulk of the new hires are unlikely to take place until after the New Year, as the bank is building a new trading room.
