CME Submits Proposal To Cftc In Hot Race To Trade Cross Rates

The Chicago Mercantile Exchange officially threw its hat into the cross currency ring this week as was expected (FX Week, July 6), applying to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission for approval to trade six cross-currency futures contracts and six options contracts on those futures.
