Bank of America has completed its merger with Continental Bank. Continental's name will formally change to Bank of America at midnight Wednesday. However, plans for the future of the newly-acquired foreign exchange group have yet to be disclosed by BofA officials. Continental was formed in 1857 and was Chicago's oldest financial institution. San Francisco-based BofA announced plans in January to purchase the bank (FX Week, February 7).
