Prebon/BCMG Form Joint Venture In Singapore For Regional Options

Prebon Yamane (Singapore) and BCMG are forming a joint venture designed to strengthen Prebon's presence in the regional foreign currency options market, according to Steven Fierro, the newly appointed manager for currency options at the joint venture in Singapore.
Money broker Prebon announced the merger with over-the-counter currency options specialists BCMG last week. The new entity will trade under Prebon's name, using a team of four BCMG brokers headed by Fierro. The venture is a 50:50 deal
