Telerate Optimistic About Minex, Concedes TTS Posted Loss In 1992

Telerate Europe/Gulf officials expressed optimism about the prospects for the Minex automated brokerage service at Telerate's earnings announcement in London last week. At the same time, the company conceded that its conversation foreign exchange dealing system--The Trading Service (TTS)--sustained "substantial losses" in the past year.

Minex is an order-matching system for foreign exchange trading that Telerate is sponsoring along with a group of 21 mostly Japanese banks, two Tokyo-based FX
