Asia Forex '97 To Focus On Topical Issues, But Turnout Suffers Due To Market Woes

The 19th Asia-Pacific Financial Markets Assembly (Asia Forex '97), which was tipped to attract almost 1,000 attendees to Hong Kong from all over the world, looks set to attract fewer delegates due to the recent currency and economic crisis in Asia, according to Marco Foehn, chairman of Asia Forex '97's organizing committee. Foehn says that the organizers currently believe that approximately 600 delegates will attend, but that the figures will be hard-stretched to reach the previously hoped for
