Reuters Modifies Dealing 2000-2 Service To Attract Larger Trades

TECHNOLOGY

In an effort to encourage larger size trades on its Dealing 2000-2 electronic FX matching service, Reuters has modified the matching window for dollar/Deutsche mark and dollar/yen prices.

According to Bob Etherington, marketing manager for transaction products at Reuters, the company has been experimenting with a double row of prices on the screen--an upper, small character row for amounts of $5 million and under, and a lower, large-character row for multiples of $5 million.
