RBC Expands Team In Sydney Following Hambros Acquisition

SYDNEY--Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) is bolstering its operations in Sydney, following its acquisition of Hambros Bank's fixed interest business in March. RBC plans to go interbank in both spot and forward Australian dollar, moving the book from Singapore to Sydney, and has named co-heads for the expanding FX operation, says Peter Loaring, regional treasurer, Asia-Pacific, in Singapore.
