Banque Indosuez Makes New Hires For Asian Forex Expansion Plans

Banque Indosuez is implementing a plan to developing its market making in Asian currencies with new hires in both Hong Kong and Singapore, sources say (FX Week, December 13).

David Ong, formerly an EMS trader with Copenhagen-based Unibank's New York branch, is now heading a new EMS desk at Banque Indosuez in Hong Kong. Indosuez's Hong Kong branch will also trade in Scandinavian currencies for the first time, sources say.

In Singapore, Henry Tan has been recruited locally from Morgan Guaranty Trust
