Bank of Fukuoka Opens in London Small FX Desk Begins Operations

A major Japanese regional bank, the Bank of Fukuoka, has upgraded its London representative office to a full branch this week, starting up a small forex trading operation at the same time a brave move at a time when many other foreign banks in London are contracting or pulling out.
