NationsBank in London has hired David Allanson from Goldman Sachs in London, where he was co-head of foreign exchange, as its new foreign exchange director, confirms Richard Roddy, the bank's branch manager in London. Allanson will run trading and sales in London and Europe while treasurer Roger Mullings will remain in place, running the funding side, he says. Roddy says Allanson's mission is to "beef up the foreign exchange operation so it is commensurate with the size of the bank." NationsBank
