Platform volumes subdued
LONDON & CHICAGO - Volumes on trading platforms remained low last month, with average daily volumes down from the same period last year.
Average daily volumes on EBS Spot were $125.2 billion in July, down 39% from $206.0 billion in July last year.
CME Group's foreign exchange volume averaged 612,000 contracts per day last month, with notional value of approximately $79 billion, down 4% and 12% respectively from last July.
