Andrew Brown at BBVA

When Andrew Brown joined BBVA in January as global head of foreign exchange, he brought with him nine years of experience at HSBC, a considerably larger FX business. Brown held a number of senior roles at HSBC after joining from Goldman Sachs in 2000. In March 2006, he was appointed to the new role of global head of FX; a position he held until March 2009 when he left the bank to take some time out of the market.

Seven months after returning to take on the new role, Brown has focused his efforts
