If the world’s major central banks continue to carry out their respective monetary policies carefully, then investor sentiment towards emerging markets (EM) will remain constructive and allow some of these currencies to thrive, says Georgette Boele, a senior foreign exchange strategist at ABN Amro.

The bank topped last week’s 12-month EM forecast table with close calls on the Chinese renminbi and the Brazilian real.
