INTL FCStone rolls out e-platform for frontier units
Platform to streamline price discovery of exotic currencies through more electronic process
INTL FCStone’s global payments division is rolling out an electronic trading platform for frontier market currencies in a bid to bring the largely voice-operated price-making process for the world’s most illiquid and inaccessible currencies in line with their more liquid G10 and G20 counterparts.
When fully operational at the end of the year, the platform, dubbed FXePrice, will allow local liquidity providers in these frontier markets to streamline executable prices in 140 currencies across 175
