Trading volumes fall on most ECNs in July

FXSpotstream bucked the trend with yet another year-on-year increase

FX trading on ECNs was down compared with June and July last year

Amid persisting low volatility in FX markets, average daily trading volumes on all reporting electronic communication networks (ECNs) fell in July compared with last year’s levels with the exception of ­FXSpotstream, which recorded gains of 30.9%, thus maintaining the platform’s uninterrupted year-on-year double digit growth since ­December 2017.
