New Chase Starts Up Operations Worldwide With Combined Foreign Exchange Teams

The foreign exchange and derivatives operations of Chemical Bank and Chase Manhattan Bank merged globally last week, with Chemical's dealers moving into Chase offices in New York, London and most of Asia. The new Chase has a new structure, particularly on the sales side, which has become more client-specific.

Structurally, the new Chase is organised regionally by product. Don Wilson heads FX, generic derivatives and selected sovereign securities globally, with regional FX and interest rate
