Trio, Headed By Former Tullett MD Hagan Signs Pact To Buy Martin Bierbaum Group


A well-known figure in the brokerage industry is behind last week's move by Trio Investment Trust PLC to buy the Martin Bierbaum Group. David Hagan, who until last year served as managing director of Tullett & Tokyo Equities Limited and chaired Godsell Astley & Pearce in the 1970s, confirmed that he holds the controlling interest in Trio. Trio has reached a preliminary agreement with the owners of the Bierbaum group for the purchase, Hagan says.
