ABN Amro in London made a slew of new hires last week, according to treasurer Steven McGuire. Kees Scholtes has joined the bank from S.G. Warburg in London as head of derivatives sales and financial engineering. He has spent the past 10 years in structured sales, says McGuire. The bank has also started a London currency options desk, he says, plucking Anders Borg from money broker Tradition in London, where he headed European options marketing, to run the new desk.
