Eugène Prim Elected ACI President In Osaka; Move To Extend David Clark's Term Rejected

Members of the Association Cambiste Internationale Central Council on June 8 elected Eugène Prim, chairman of the Committee for Professionalism, as the new ACI president after a contested election in which José Olavarrieta, editor of Forex Inter and deputy general manager of Confederacion Espanola de Cajas de Ahorros, was the loser. The Council also rejected a proposal by some member clubs to extend for one year the term of current president David Clark.

Prim, aged 48, is senior manager
