Deutsche Merges Treasury And Swaps As Dresdner Expands In Spot, Options

Deutsche Bank is in the process of reshaping its treasury organization in Germany to combine FX and money markets with its derivatives group, according to treasury executives. Up until recently, the groups have been run separately in Deutsche's 18 German branches, although not in its foreign branches.

Klaus Jürgen Elsner, director of corporate sales for foreign exchange and money markets at Deutsche in Frankfurt, explains that plans are in train to combine the functions, probably under treasurer
