HSBC Reorganises Hong Kong Treasury To Merge Forex, Capital Markets

Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corp. (HSBC) is creating an integrated treasury and capital markets structure in Hong Kong by merging its trading teams with those of its investment banking subsidiary, Wardley Holdings, according to HSBC Holdings treasury and capital markets director, Stephen Green. He says the bank hopes to follow the successful formula of its Midland Global Markets operation in London.
