Citibank N.Y.'s FX Chief Reassesses Strategy Following Spate Of High Profile Departures

Citibank's new head of foreign exchange in New York David Buchen says he is assessing staff, structure and strategy before making any permanent decisions for the division, following the spate of high-profile departures less than two months ago (FX Week, April 25).

Buchen replaces former managing director Michael deSa, who surprised the market by defecting to Deutsche Bank in New York with nine of Citi's top traders and sales staff, including trading head Dan Almeida, chief dealer Rita Saverino
