State Street Global Advisors, the investment management arm of State Street Boston Corporation, is making new inroads into the management of currency risk. The group, already one of the top-10 investment management firms worldwide, signaled its intensified push into currency management by hiring two senior currency managers.
Through the appointments of John Serhant, former managing director of FX Concepts, Inc. in New York, and J. Graham Spiers, formerly the head of the currency management unit
