Banque Brussels Lambert Expands Options Trading In New York

Bank Brussels Lambert (BBL) in New York is planning an expansion in options and is making a push for margin accounts, according to bank executives. As part of the marketing effort, the bank recently moved to a new, larger dealing room and installed a margining software package.

T.J. Shea, formerly an options trader at J.P. Morgan in New York, joined the Belgian bank in New York in March as assistant vice president in charge of FX derivatives, sales and trading. But he is also heading the drive
