Commerzbank in London has hired John Baker from Union Bank of Switzerland in London as its new chief spot dealer, according to treasury and capital markets director Rudolph Duttweiler in Frankfurt. Baker was previously responsible for UBS London's 'B' desk, which handles interbank trades with smaller banks and deals under $10 million, says a UBS official.
