Lehman Resigns, As Shearson Focuses On Core Businesses

Jack Lehman, a senior vice president and head of Shearson Lehman Brothers Inc.'s commodities division announced his intentions to resign from the firm late last week. His departure, and Shearson's plan to alter the compensation package for its commodity futures sales staff, reflects the firm's effort to focus on its core businesses, particularly its cash trading operations.
