Reuters To Start Beta Testing Dealing 2000-2 System Comes Under Attack In Copenhagen

Reuters Holdings PLC will begin beta testing its Dealing 2000-2 foreign exchange order-matching system within the next four weeks. The system, an enhancement to its Dealing 2000-1 automated interbank foreign exchange trading system, allows traders to anonymously post and hit prices displayed on a screen.

Dealing 2000-2 had originally been slated to begin beta test in December 1989. Speaking at a Business Week conference on telecommunications in New York last month, Glen Renfrew, managing director
