Pay Survey Shows Tiny Increase In 1992 For Average London Treasury Salaries

Average salaries for treasury staff in London rose by only 1.2 percent last year, according to a salary survey conducted by pay consultants Day Associates. But average salaries for treasurers and chief dealers fell 3.1 percent last year, and were down 1.3 percent even with bonuses included.

Day Associates managing director Joseph Clark says the 1.2 percent increase in salaries for treasury staff applies to a variety of trading, sales and analysis jobs in bank treasury divisions. The figure is for
