Westpac Takes New Business Tack Streamlining Overseas Operations

Westpac's institutional and international banking group's global head of financial markets, Michael Hawker, who joined the bank from Citibank in Australia in August, has made a number of changes in recent months.
In addition to naming Tony Mathers as head of global foreign exchange, replacing chief manager in Sydney, Michael Bailey, Hawker has taken a new tack on the business, focusing on marketing and sales at its overseas offices.
