Day Associates City Salary Survey Shows 1995 Drop In London FX Pay

The summer edition of Day Associates' quarterly London City salary survey shows that salaries and bonuses overall in foreign exchange and treasury have dropped in the past year, although pay rose slightly in a few job categories. According to Day's managing director, Joseph Clark, the results reflect poor bank earnings in FX during 1994 and the earlier part of this year.

Clark says the company surveys some 137 medium-sized and smaller banks in London periodically, seeing each roughly once a year
