Mizuho hires ex-Lehman e-trading team
News of the hires came from two executives familiar with the plan. They said the new team will be headed by Anthony Brooker, who used to run Lehman's electronic trading sales in Asia. Nobuo Wazaki is also reported to have joined the new team, who all started work in the first week of November.
The group will focus on electronic products and systems for equities trading, aimed primarily at hedge funds and institutional investors, said the sources.
