April - Merrill Lynch props up recruitment industry

US investment bank Merrill Lynch consolidated its position as the big recruiter of the year with a massive hiring spree announced in April.

Some of the 70-plus forex executives the firm hired during the course of the year included UBS Warburg’s global FX options head, Adam Kreysar, as Merrill’s new co-head of global FX trading, alongside New York-based Marcus Browning; Bank of America’s Greg Chow as global head of investor sales for FX; and Goldman Sachs institutional sales dealer Rob Ca
