Moving up from down under
The recent appointment of Kieran Salter as Commonwealth Bank of Australia's (CBA) global head of foreign exchange is a clear sign of the new direction in which the Australian bank is seeking to move its FX business. CBA has been active in London for a century, but part of Salter's role is to more actively push the FX franchise outside Australia.
