When Barclays launched Barx FX Trading in 2001, it was one of the first movers in the single-dealer platform space, setting a precedent for fully automated pricing, risk management and client analytics. Twelve years on, Barx continues to evolve, with a new set of algos scheduled to launch in the coming weeks as the bank focuses on competing with the new capabilities offered by other dealers.
