Lehman set to capitalise on FXCM

The US investment bank is understood to be among the four dealers who have shown interest in bidding for the stake, which has been held by the creditors of defunct futures broker Refco since October 2005. The stake was acquired by Refco in 2002 for an undisclosed sum.

Bidding for the stake began last week, with initial bids due on or around June 29. From the initial bids, Refco creditors will pick the highest, with the final bids due at the end of July.
