FXCM opens London office

FXCM aims to capture 40% of the market in online currency trading in the UK within two years, said Marc Prosser, chief marketing officer at FXCM in New York. It is targeting ‘intermediate clients’ that have six or more months of margin-trading experience, including private and institutional clients, he added.

The London office now has five staff, including chief executive officer Colin Geiger and dealers Marcus Knuth and Andrew King.
