Drennan, who starts at the bank in August, will report to Carr. He leaves AIG in Singapore, where he was head of institutional FX sales, and has also previously worked at Bank of America.

His hire adds to other appointments the bank has made in structuring and trading in response to the growing hedge fund client base, said Carr.
