HSBC reorgs by client sector

"We have major multi-nationals wanting a global service, and this will help to deliver what they need across the board," said an HSBC spokesperson in London.

The heads and co-heads will work with seniors to develop sales strategy for all products for each corporate sector.

Robin Phillips has been hired as global head of transport, logistics and construction. He joins in London in December from Citigroup Global Markets in London, where he was global co-head of transportation investment banking.
