Persaud to manage GAM fund

Persaud, who is known for his unique currency speculation methods, left his last role as London-based global head of research at State Street Bank & Trust last month after about three and a half years in the role. His appointment at GAM follows that of investment director Ross Hollyman in August. He too "has a distinctive investment style", according to the fund manager. The two appointments are part of GAM’s strategy to widen its investment approach.
