Lehman bags Merrill’s Bernal to lead money manager sales

Reporting to Grant Whiteside, New York-based global head of FX, and to Mark De Gennaro, London-based global head of FX sales, Bernal’s appointment is part of the bank’s "strategic focus" on foreign exchange, said a source at the bank in New York.

He is one of a number of senior investor sales dealers on the move as the rise of interest in foreign exchange from that quarter boosts their worth in the industry.
