BNP Paribas hires Uwe Fuehrer for investor sales

Uwe Fuehrer joined BNP in London, marketing forex products to UK asset managers and pension funds, after a three-year break from the markets. He left CAI in April 2000 (FX Week, April 17, 2000) to set up a health-care business with his wife.

Fuehrer reports to Richard Knight, UK head of institutional FX sales, who himself left CAI for BNP in 2001 (FX Week, August 13, 2001). Knight joined CAI in 1997 to manage UK institutional sales, reporting to Fuehrer.

Fuehrer is the second hire Knight has made
