Peter Bartko joins Forexster

Bartko, who left the London-based spot broker in December 2001 after overseeing its development from launch in 1993, now becomes chief executive of Forexster, replacing Arman Glodjo, who will remain as chairman.

Bartko told FX Week he would now focus on getting more liquidity providers on board -- at present only Bear Stearns and SE Banken provide prices for Forexster, although there is one other un-named bank now lined up.

In this, Bartko’s background will be crucial -- he has 34 years’
