ANZ tempts Lloyds chief to Oz

Lloyds banking head Steve Targett will rejoin ANZ in Melbourne as group managing director of institutional financial services by July.

Reporting to ANZ’s chief executive officer John McFarlane, Targett will manage ANZ’s institutional financial services, including institutional banking, forex, capital markets, corporate financing and advisory, structured finance and transaction services.

Targett will leave Lloyds TSB in London this month, where he is a board director
